Joey is an adorable little muppet rescued from an overcrowded NYC shelter. He is quite wobbly in his hind legs, and after a series of x-rays he was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (a herniated disc in the spine). Don't worry though- Joey gets around just fine and enjoys going for walks. He just looks a little silly while he's walking. Typical of his bred, Joey has dry eye and will need drops in both eyes for the rest of his life. Not typical of his breed, he does not mind getting eye meds and is very well behaved for his doses. He also appears to be house trained and gets along with other animals.
Joey is currently being housed with one our rescue partners in New Jersey. With an approved application, we will arrange transport to PA, and have Joey examined by our vet before going to his forever home. These costs are included in his adoption fee and nothing extra will be required of his new family. Please consider bringing this smooshy face home for the holidays!
