What's this young lady doing in our senior rescue? We "don't" take in young cats, and we "don't" take in strays... but here's Minnie, because of course we had to help this poor girl after she was thrown away.
When Minnie was found crying in the bushes of our primary foster home, we thought for sure someone must be looking for her. As friendly as she is beautiful, Minnie certainly knew a life indoors and knew that people could be good and helpful. But no one came for her and no one replied to our posts, so Minnie officially became a GOT cat. When we learned that not only was she not microchipped but not spayed either, we became suspicious of why she ended up on the street in the first place. Our guess is that Minnie was not lost, but had been intentionally abandoned outside. This is not her life anymore and it never will be again: Minnie is very happy living indoors where she is safe from disease, parasites, predators, cars, and the long long list of other things that could harm her. She is now spayed, vaccinated, combo tested (negative), dewormed, and flea-free, and ready to find her forever home. Although she is nervous about new animals, she lives peacefully with other cats and would likely adjust to life with friendly dogs. She likes to play and loves attention, and is an all-around great cat. Please consider making this sweet girl the newest member of your family!
