This sweet, small girl was found as a stray in Maryland. She had a friend who was found with her, so they were likely dumped by their former owner. Pastel's friend got adopted but she was left behind at the shelter. We're not sure why no one would want such a friendly and beautiful cat- Pastel loves attention and is happy to meet new people. She is fine living with other cats, as long as she can have her own space with proper introductions. She is NOT a fussy eater and loves different kinds of canned food and cat milk. She is very talkative and likes to climb to high places to chirp. Someone was once kind to Pastel, but now she has been abandoned twice. We need someone to show her that people can be good, and that there's someone out there for her who will love her forever!
Pastel is a gentle gal but she does not like excessive handling or being picked up, so we're looking for a home without small children for her to live out her golden years. She also has hyperthyroidism and will need daily medications for the rest of her life.
