NAME: Tucker
BREED: Beagle Mix
WEIGHT: 40lbs

Tucker's story is a sad one, but unfortunately not one that is uncommon: his family sent him to the shelter when they got a new puppy. Despite his fantastic temperament and good manners, Tucker was thrown away. Luckily he was saved from the shelter, but spent over a year in foster care with no interest. When his foster mom suffered an injury, Tucker was in need of a new home, and once again his life was uprooted as he made his way to GOT. Although he was overwhelmed by the big pack when he first arrived, Tucker settled in very quickly and has even made a few friends. He ignores the cats and has done great with house training, making him a super easy foster. He loves to snuggle and is happy to be used as a pillow by his foster mom. He does very well in the car and on leash, and will obviously need some good walks to help him lose the weight he put on in foster care. Tucker does well meeting new people, and would likely be just fine with older/respectful kids. A fenced yard is recommended but not required, as long as Tucker is kept on leash. If you're looking for an easy addition to your family, this is your guy!
