ADOPTION FEE: $75
You may know by now that our senior rescue often takes in kittens- they're easy to squeeze in and get adopted quickly, and really we're just happy to help anyone we can. So when a shelter partner asked us to take a little family in risk of euthanasia, we set up the extra bathroom and dug the extra toys out of storage. We figured these friendly and lovely young babies would get snatched up before they outgrew their little space, but very bad upper respiratory illnesses followed by a ringworm outbreak delayed their adoptions. Now this family is healthy and cleared for adoption! Zelda had three kittens so we were hoping to adopt the family out in pairs. Two babies went home together, but Peach and Zelda are still looking for a forever family.
Zelda was a bit shy when she first came to us, but warmed up quickly despite weeks of medications which she obviously hated but tolerated pretty well. She is silky soft and has gained a healthy amount of weight since arriving here with a very bad URI. Zelda did a great job taking care of her litter despite not being healthy herself, and now she deserves a real home where she will be loved forever. We would love to see her go home with her daughter Peach, who is now almost fully grown, but she would also be fine to be adopted alone. She can be sassy with other cats but never hurts anyone, and would likely do well with a tolerant dog who doesn't mind being swatted from time to time.
