ADOPTION FEE: $40
Ziggy came to us when his mom developed dementia very suddenly. She is only 61 years old so it was very unexpected and she had not made plans for her three cats. Although we were a little nervous about taking all three because of our limited space and (sadly) our low cat adoption rates, we couldn't leave anyone behind. So Ziggy and his brother Max came to us along with their sister Mitzi.
We were worried about Ziggy when he first arrived at GOT. He hid all the time, and all we saw was a lump under a blanket. We knew he had been well cared for and loved, so he just needed to decompress and get used to life in foster care. Sure enough, this big handsome fellow came out of his shell and showed us what a sweet goofball he really is! Ziggy loves attention, pats, and head butts. He drools when he's happy and is very entertaining with a new catnip toy. Although he is friends with Max, they do not need to be adopted together. Both are curious about the dogs outside their door and would most likely be able to adjust to life with dogs. They are happy to share space with other cats and don't bother any newcomers. Ziggy has a mild heart murmur but that doesn't stop him from being adorable, happy, and otherwise healthy. He's just missing his mom and missing a real home: please consider making him a member of your family!
