Bella is one of those dogs who really doesn't belong in our rescue. She's not too old, she doesn't have any health issues, and she's considered an "adoptable" breed by most shelters. She did come to the shelter with her friend Lily (who is old and does have health issues), but the two are not bonded so they did not have to leave together. So why did no one else come for Bella? We're really not sure, but we're happy she's here.
Other than being a fussy eater (and making some strange noises that, if you forget she's around, can be a little unsettling), Bella is a terrifically easy dog. She gets along with everyone and loves meeting new people. She knows about the couch and can get up and down on her own, and is learning about house and pad training. Adventures outside, car rides, or cuddling- she does it all. We're very impressed at how well she has settled into the big pack, but we really want her to find a home of her own. Bella will make an easy addition to her new family!
