As usual, we had no room for cats. Every space in foster care was full, and funds were low. But when we saw a Facebook post about a mommy cat and her two babies in danger, we had to at least ask for help. All we knew from the post was that the owner of the cats was threatening to kill them if they were not rehomed in two days: what we did not know is that the little family was being kept in a hot shed, and were dehydrated and underweight. Thankfully some friends stepped up to foster, and the trio was saved from inevitable death- either directly at the hands of their owner, or slowly from neglect.

Eleanor is the beautiful mother of two beautiful kittens. She is shy at first but somehow has maintained a sweet demeanor despite her unimaginable start to life. She loves to play, and her favorite thing is catnip. Eleanor would love to be adopted with her daughter Harper, with whom she lives in foster care. However, our priority is finding a loving home for these girls where they can be happy and healthy, so a solo adoption is an option as well. Both girls will be fully vetted prior to going to their forever homes.

Eleanor's other daughter, Daisy, has already found a family and is a sweet, loving, and playful girl. She has settled in beautifully and is a wonderful friend to her young human brother. Please help us find the same happy ending for Eleanor and Harper!
